Ancient Pueblo people had hot weather during the summer, so they only wore a
very little amount of clothing. But their winters were cold, so they would make robes and coats. That is not all they would where though they would also shirts, kilts, dresses and loincloths made of animal skin, furs and they would sometimes wrapped feathers around Yucca fibers and then sewed them together. A problem they had though was that animal skins were hard to come by, not many large animals that lived in the dessert area where the tribes lived. So they began to trade and grow cotton to use to weave shirts, dresses, loincloths and blankets. They were good weavers so they would decorate their outfits by, painting or making abstract embroidery and geometric designs on their fabric, and they also wore jewelry, pendants, earrings and necklaces. A lot of it was from turquoise.
