Climate
The climate of the land was hot all year long. The land suffered from periods of drought, wind and water erosion. Summers were hot and dry. Sometimes it rains and sometimes they get thunderstorms in the summer. But it was basically hot all year long. Occasionally, winters did happen. But the snowfall did not change the content of the land. The water from the rain in the summer and the snow in winter are what the puebloan's used for their crops. They depended on the snow for water. Since the weather was so hot it was very hard for the Puebloan's to grow food or hunt for food. The air pressure in New Mexico changes because of the seasons changing. When the temperature drops the water reduces and the puebloans need that water for agriculture. The temperature could reach to 120 degrees during the day and at night it could drop down to 25 degrees.
* Drought - a long dry period
* Erosion - the process by which the surface of the earth is worn away by the action of water, glaciers, winds, waves, etc.
